Moving Image
I work with moving image, light and the ways they can transform the perception of space. I am interested in the moment when an image is no longer perceived simply as something on a surface, but as an environment with its own rhythm, atmosphere and ability to guide our attention.
My work moves between the gallery, the theatre, lighting design and experimentation. I work with projection, darkness, multi-channel image and simple optical situations. I look for ways in which an image can enter a space, become part of its architecture and change what the viewer sees, feels and expects.
